It may have been three years since the pilot for the animated series Frankenchicken was first created, but it seems that the project is still alive. What stage the production is at  is uncertain.

Created in Flash, Frankenchicken was written and directed Ann-Marie Denham and told the story of a young chook who was turned into a deformed half-chicken, half-monster. Funded by Film Victoria, the 8 minute pilot for the show toured film festivals, but failed to be picked up for a television series. However, recent character sketches from the Frankenchicken Live Journal and the addition several character descriptions to the official website of suggest that all is not lost for the series.

Ann-Marie Denham is a director at Bigkidz Entertainment, a Melbourne based animation studio which was worked on such shows as Dogstar and Quads.
